Job summary

Intermountain Health's St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, is launching a new outpatient pharmacy. We are seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to help build workflows, prepare prescriptions, and support patient access in a growing program.

You will collaborate with pharmacists and technicians in a retail-like setting with a stronger focus on patient care, compliance, and efficient operations, working 20 hours per week with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification/licensure required.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders and compounds per policy and state law.
• Verify tasks with pharmacist and monitor controlled substances inventory.
• Communicate with caregivers about responsibilities and safety initiatives.
• Support daily operations and patient experience in a growing program.
