Corewell Health Lakeland Retail Pharmacy in St. Joseph, MI is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the Discharge Medication Program and outpatient operations.
Under supervision of a Pharmacist, you will process prescriptions, prepare medications, handle inventory, and provide patient-focused service in a busy pharmacy setting. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred Associate's Degree.
- Licensure as Pharmacy Technician in Michigan or eligibility.
- CPHT or ExCPT certification preferred.
- Retail pharmacy technician experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Under pharmacist direction, provides technical assistance, processing and preparing medications.
- Delivers medications and supplies to patient care areas as needed.
- Maintains inventory and handles controlled substances under supervision.
- Provides patient care and responsive customer service in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
