UVA Pediatrics Culpeper is seeking a full-time pediatrician to join our outpatient team. The practice operates Monday through Friday with 4, 10-hour days and rotating Saturday hours, with on-site coverage and rotating call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of medical school with an MD or DO and completed residency in pediatrics.
• Experience with outpatient pediatric care and hospital collaboration.
• Ability to document and code using CPT/ICD in UVA systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care and guidelines.
• Collaborate with medical director, nursing staff, and management.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic studies and initiates referrals when needed.
• Educate families about disease processes and treatment plans.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and teaching activities.
