Job summary

UVA Pediatrics Culpeper is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant that specializes in primary care pediatrics. The role is outpatient and features a four 10-hour day schedule with rotating Saturday hours, plus on-call responsibilities and PSLF eligibility.

Compensation is tiered by APP experience ($105k–$125k) with a guaranteed incentive early on, and a transition to a wRVU-based model after two years. Comprehensive benefits apply, including time off and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited graduate program with master's degree.
• Licensure as APRN/PA per Virginia requirements (BLS; ACLS/NRP as required).

Responsibilities

• Work with medical director and interprofessional team to coordinate care.
• Perform comprehensive histories and exams; initiate emergency measures if needed.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; document diagnoses and plan.
• Provide patient and family education and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Participate in on-call duties and maintain UVA policies and procedures.
