Advocate Health in Park Ridge, NJ is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing disorders in the Pediatrics: O/P Acute Therapy department. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour.

Responsibilities include documenting care, discharging plans, collaboration with physicians, and ensuring patient safety; a Master’s in Speech Pathology and state licensure are required; BLS

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited school or educational requirements commensurate with graduation date.
• Speech Language Pathologist license in the practicing state; BLS for Healthcare Providers recommended.
• No experience required.

Responsabilités

• Interprets physician referrals and conducts speech and language evaluations.
• Establishes a written plan of care and implements treatment; monitors outcomes.
• Plans for discharge with home programs and family teaching; coordinates referrals.
• Completes documentation per policy; manages caseload and daily statistics.
• Maintains safety, infection control, and participates in quality improvement.
