Overview of Responsibilities

• Patient care and administrative responsibilities are assigned to the PT Manager based on experience, expertise, education, and other factors. The PT may rotate through clinical assignments, including inpatient, outpatient, home health, contracted services, and work conditioning. Outpatient pediatrics will be assigned only to clinically qualified individuals.
• The PT reports to the Physical Therapy Manager.
• The PT is clinically responsible for PT Assistants, students, Aides, and volunteers working under their supervision.
• The PT may be scheduled to work certain weekends and holidays according to department policy.

Education/Experience

Education Required: BS, MS, or DPT Degree or Certification in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Experience Preferred: Preference may be given to individuals with advanced clinical skills or expertise.

Licensure: Must be fully licensed in Indiana to practice as a Physical Therapist. Temporary permits may be used under supervision. If providing services in Ohio, a current license in that state is required.

Certifications: Basic Life Support certification required.
