The Physical Therapist evaluates each patient and provides medically prescribed treatments and education to restore, improve, or maintain the patient’s optimal level of functioning, independence, and quality of life. They also supervise Physical Therapist Assistants in implementing the treatment plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across various settings, including outpatient pediatrics, under the supervision of the PT Manager.
• Rotate through clinical assignments such as inpatient, outpatient, home health, and work conditioning.
• Supervise PT Assistants, students, aides, and volunteers.
• Work certain weekends and holidays per department policy.

Qualifications

• Education: BS, MS, or DPT in Physical Therapy or certification from an accredited program.
• Experience: Preferred with advanced clinical skills or expertise.
• Licensure: Licensed in Indiana; valid Ohio license if providing services there.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS).

Schedule

PRN / as needed.
