Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides high level customer service in all interactions with internal and external customers.
• Coordinates patient registration and access to UTMB services; handles scheduling and reminders.
• Educates patients on billing processes and third-party responsibilities; provides cost estimates.
• Pre-registers patients with demographics and third-party coverage; ensures Medicare/insurance compliance.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and protects sensitive information; triages issues and escalates as needed.
