Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Epic or similar EHR.

Responsibilities

• Register and check in patients for outpatient services.
• Verify patient identity and collect/verify demographic and insurance information.
• Explain co-pays, deductibles, deposits, and self-pay expectations.
• Collect payments and connect patients with financial counseling when needed.
• Maintain encounters in the EHR and ensure accurate data entry.
• Support clinic flow, handle walk-ins, and adjust schedules as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, EMTALA, HRSA, and other regulations.
• Train and support new hires and respond to questions.
