Sequoia Care is seeking licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) in Florida to provide hands-on therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT. This role focuses on outpatient care within senior living communities, with opportunities for steady hours or flexible scheduling.

You will work on individualized treatment plans, help residents regain daily living skills, and document progress while collaborating with the OT and care team.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree from an OTA program.
• Senior living or similar experience preferred.
• CPR certification as required by facility or state regulations.
• Strong documentation, time management, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Carry out individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with regaining skills related to daily living, mobility, and fine motor function.
• Track and document resident progress and report changes to the OT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies.
• Communicate with the care team to ensure coordinated, goal‑driven care.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with Florida state and federal guidelines.
