Spine & Sport Physical Therapy Encinitas is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for outpatient orthopedics. New graduates are encouraged to apply; must hold a California PTA license or be eligible for licensure to be considered for this position.

This role supports PTs in delivering high-quality patient care, implementing treatment plans, and assisting with therapeutic exercises to promote recovery and mobility.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PTA program.
• State licensure or eligibility to practice as PTA in California.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist PTs in implementing treatment plans.
• Instruct and guide patients in therapeutic exercises.
• Record patient progress and communicate with PTs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality patient care.
