Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team in East Norriton, PA. This full-time role involves working Monday through Friday under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

You will execute treatment plans, document progress, maintain patient confidentiality, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state PTA certification required.
• Minimum of one year experience in an outpatient Physical Therapy clinic or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute treatment plans under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with physicians, staff, and other departments.
• Document treatments and patient progress in the medical record per state practice act.
• Integrate as a primary member of the treatment team for assigned caseloads.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with OSHA and infection control regulations.
• Assist with training Physical Therapy Technicians as needed.
