Job summary

FOI is expanding its outpatient orthopaedic services across the Tampa Bay area, seeking Physical Therapists to join a collaborative team. Multiple clinic locations including Riverview offer opportunities to help patients regain strength and mobility.

You will assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions, design individualized care plans, and work with surgeons and therapists to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation. Strong communication and commitment to ongoing education are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred).
• Current CPR certification.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, innovative, and passionate about improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning.
• Developing, implementing, and modifying individualized plans of care.
• Providing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and other evidence-based treatments.
• Educating patients and families on diagnosis, rehab process, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborating with physicians, PTAs, athletic trainers, and the broader care team.
• Documenting all evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Monitoring and ensuring patient safety during all treatments.
• Supervising and delegating responsibilities to PTAs and therapy support staff.
