Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Rowlett, TX is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our busy outpatient clinic. You will treat a variety of diagnoses including spine, young athletes, post-op patients, vestibular disorders and gait and balance, while building relationships within the community and with referral sources.

The position runs Monday through Friday in a fast-paced, supportive team environment that emphasizes quality patient care and collaborative treatment

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification, or completion within 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Patient Case Load Average: 10-12.
• Timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source.
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed.
