Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett, TX. This PRN Day position supports inpatient rehab, evaluating and treating patients to maximize function and planning discharge.

The role emphasizes documentation, education, and collaboration with families and the care team. The ideal candidate has a master’s or bachelor’s degree with some experience, and holds BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience beyond minimum qualification.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience in physical therapy.
• Certification/License/Registration: BLS as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, treats and monitors patient; modifies therapy plan.
• Documents clinically; enters charges and understands reimbursement.
• Communicates with patients, families and care team; provides education.
• Supervises ancillary staff, students and volunteers.
• Advances clinical skills via ongoing education and evidence-based practice.
• Maintains alignment with system goals and regulatory guidelines.
