Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physical Therapist for the Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett, TX. The PRN Day Position focuses on evaluating, treating, and planning discharge to maximize patient function within an inpatient rehab setting.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience, and BLS certification. You will educate patients and families, document thoroughly, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree with 2 years+ experience beyond minimum qualifications.
• Must have active BLS certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, treats and monitors patients; modifies therapy plans and goals.
• Performs thorough clinical documentation; enters charges; understands reimbursement.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers and medical team; provides education.
• Supervises ancillary staff, students and volunteers.
• Advances clinical skills through ongoing education and evidence-based practice.
• Imparts knowledge and ensures regulatory compliance across the team.
• Maintains alignment with system goals and professional responsibilities.
