Job summary

Innovative Therapy Concepts is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join Carrell Clinic's outpatient orthopedic team in Dallas, TX. The role involves evaluating and treating a diverse caseload of surgical and non-operative patients, with emphasis on improving function and reducing pain in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Must have active PT license that allows practice in the state of work, with jurisprudence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Reviews physician's referral and patient's condition to determine PT treatment.
• Tests and measures strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Plans and prepares written treatment programs based on evaluations.
• Administers manual and therapeutic exercises to improve function.
• Instructs and motivates patients in home treatment and use of assistive devices.
• Documents treatment progress and adjusts plans as needed.
