Job summary

Vista Physical Therapy in Richardson, TX, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic clinic. Join a collaborative team committed to helping patients regain mobility and improve quality of life.

Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $99,000 per year (DOE) with a monthly incentive bonus up to $2,500 and student loan repayment up to $25,000, potentially reaching $110,000+ in total compensation depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, flexibility, and function.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies.
• Delegate and use a PTA when applicable and adapt to scheduling changes.
