Zusammenfassung

Florida Orthopaedic Institute in the Tampa Bay area is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopaedic team. You will evaluate and treat patients across multiple clinic locations, build individualized plans of care, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians and rehab staff to restore function.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; DPT preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.

Aufgaben

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning
• Develop and modify individualized plans of care
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, rehab process, and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with physicians, PTAs, athletic trainers, and the broader care team
• Document evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
• Monitor patient safety during all treatments
• Supervising and delegating responsibilities to PTAs and therapy support staff
• Acting as a clinical instructor for PT students as requested
• Participating in community education, research, and continuous learning opportunities
• Maintaining compliance with state, federal, and APTA guidelines and FOI policies
