Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Ocala, FL, is seeking a patient-focused Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopaedic team. You will evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical needs, and sports-related conditions in a collaborative clinic.

The role supports a flexible full-time or part-time schedule with potential Saturday coverage opportunities and growth within a expanding therapy network. Licensure in Florida and DPT preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred).
• Active Florida Physical Therapist license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for outpatient orthopaedics, rehabilitation, and patient-centered care.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and patient assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation programs.
• Develop and progress individualized home exercise programs (HEP).
• Provide evidence-based outpatient orthopaedic therapy interventions.
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, mobility training, and modalities.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment progression, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, PTAs, athletic trainers, and therapy staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
• Monitor patient response and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, payer guidelines, and company policies.
• Support a positive, patient-centered clinic environment focused on quality care and teamwork.
