Job summary

Adventist HealthCare Rockville Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist for our Outpatient Rehabilitation department to extend God’s care through healing of body, mind, and spirit. The role involves evaluating patients and delivering therapy in various rehabilitation settings as needed.

You will supervise rehab aides, coordinate care, and participate in team meetings. A Maryland license and BLS are required; a $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered with installments described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Maryland License.
• 1 year of Rehab experience preferred.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform an initial examination/evaluation to establish impairment/diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of care.
• Provide or direct and supervise therapy interventions.
• Discharge planning considering goals and outcomes; follow-up or referrals as needed.
• Communicate, document, and coordinate patient management with the care team.
• Supervise rehab aides and office staff; manage caseload and schedules.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
