Job summary

Adventist Rehabilitation - Rockville is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation department. The role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus and potential H1B visa sponsorship. Work hours are 40 per week with a day shift and non-rotating shifts.

The PTA must hold a Maryland license, have an associate degree from a PTA program, and ideally possess 1 year of rehab experience. We provide comprehensive benefits and a faith-based, patient-centered work environment.

Qualifications

• Maryland PTA licensure required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
• 1 year rehab experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform initial examination and evaluation to establish impairment, diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of care.
• Provide or supervise therapy interventions aligned with plan of care and engage patient and care team.
• Plan for discharge with follow-up or referrals as needed to ensure progress toward goals.
• Document and communicate patient status and treatment results to the care team; supervise rehab aides and staff.
