Job summary

Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation - Downtown Crown in Rockville/Landover area seeks a Physical Therapist for outpatient services. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. H1B visa transfer sponsorship can be considered.

Full-time, 40 hours/week, day shifts with a flexible schedule. Requires MD license and a PT degree from an accredited program. Responsibilities include examination, plan of care, discharge planning, and multidisciplinary communication.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland license to practice physical therapy.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1 year Rehab experience preferred.
• Master/Doctorate in Physical Therapy or equivalent required/acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial examination and evaluation to establish impairment, prognosis, and plan of care.
• Provide, direct, or supervise therapy interventions aligned with the plan of care.
• Plan for discharge with follow-up or referrals as needed.
• Document all aspects of patient management and communicate with care team.
• Manage schedules to accommodate census and caseload; participate in team meetings.
• Engage in performance improvement activities and provide consumer/public education about therapy.
