Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL seeks a Physical Therapist to assess and treat orthopedic patients, design care plans, and monitor progress. The role includes documenting care, coordinating with physicians, and contributing to community outreach.

A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred, with required BLS and PT/PT-TEMP licensure. Full-time, day shift at Advent Health Sports Med and Rehab, Winter Park, FL.

• PT license or PT-TEMP license required.

Responsibilities

• Determine physical therapy diagnosis and establish a plan of care.
• Design and implement treatment plans following practice standards and insurance guidelines.
• Assess patient mobility and evaluate muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document and code accurately per policies and guidelines.
• Participate in marketing to physicians to build referral relationships.
• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations.
• Support community education and outreach.
• Adjust schedules to handle census changes across centers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

• Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Applicants

• Up to $3000 Relocation Bonus for Eligible Applicants

• Schedule: Monday - Thursday 10am -7p , Friday 9am -6pm

• Location:Advent Health Sports Med and Rehab, 2005 Mizell Ave Suite 2400 Winter Park Fl

• The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $35/hour.

• Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.

• Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.

• Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.

• Monitors patient response and progress to treatment, modifying the treatment plan as appropriate.

• Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures.

• Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.

• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards. Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships.

• Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.

• Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centres and programs as approved and observed by the manager or director

• Performs other duties as assigned.
