Job summary

The Ohio State University Eye and Ear Institute's Outpatient Surgery Center is seeking an experienced RN for the OR. You will manage patient and family care, direct the care team, and ensure safe perioperative processes in a fast-paced academic medical setting.

This intermittent, first-shift role offers no nights, weekends, or holidays, with opportunities for professional growth within a leading university medical center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.
• Current Ohio licensure or interim permit.
• Previous surgical center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage care to the patient and family and direct supervising other patient care team members.
• Assess, prescribe, implement, coordinate, delegating, and evaluate nursing care.
• Provide leadership and development of the patient care team.
• Support the perioperative experience including pre‑operative assessments, intraoperative circulating/scrub roles, and post‑anesthesia recovery.
