Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Oncology & Hematology outpatient team at the David M. Sindelar Cancer Center in St. Louis, MO.

The RN will support physicians, manage patient assessments, education, follow-up, and care coordination in a fast-paced outpatient clinic. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, assisting with procedures, documenting in the EHR, and maintaining safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license.
• CPR certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, review histories, obtain vitals, assess conditions.
• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, procedures.
• Assist physicians with patient care and specialty procedures.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate care with physicians and care team.
