Mercy South is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Oncology & Hematology team at the David M. Sindelar Cancer Center in St. Louis, MO. This full-time, day-shift position supports patient assessments, treatments and education in an outpatient setting alongside physicians and a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, valid RN license.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Previous experience is not required.

Responsabilités

• Room patients, review histories, obtain vital signs, assess conditions.
• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Assist physicians with patient care and specialty procedures.
• Provide patient education and help patients understand their plan of care.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with physicians and care team.
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record.
• Maintain proper medication handling and safety practices.
• Respond to urgent situations within the clinic.
