Job summary

Beloit Health System NorthPointe Clinic in Illinois is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ daily living skills, independence, and quality of life.

Shift is 1st, 8am–4:30 pm, hours per week 40. You will collaborate with physicians and therapists, educate patients and families, and document progress in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• Completion of 6-9 month internship in OT.
• Current Illinois OT license.
• CPR within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on needs and goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills, upper extremity function, and cognitive performance.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to promote independence.
• Accurately document evaluations, progress, goals, and discharge plans in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and other therapists to provide comprehensive care.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and clinic policies.
