Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center is hiring an Inpatient Occupational Therapist to support patients across acute care, inpatient rehab and outpatient services. We are committed to compassionate care and a collaborative team environment.

The OT will perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, coordinate care with other clinical services, and educate patients and families to maximize functional outcomes. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum education required is a Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred.
• State of Practice Occupational Therapy License.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• New graduates from accredited school may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and establish treatment goals for patients in Acute care, Inpatient Rehab, and/or Outpatient.
• Coordinate the treatment program with other clinical/therapeutic services.
• Develop comprehensive goals for treatment to maximize patient outcomes.
• Deliver care and modify the care plan to meet patient needs.
• Educate patients, families, students and colleagues.

Education

Bachelor's Degree (minimum)
