Job summary

Keller Oaks Healthcare Center in Keller, TX is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Occupational Therapist for its mobile Skilled Nursing rehab program with paid travel time. An OT license is required and travel is part of the job.

As part of our outpatient team, you will screen and evaluate patients, develop care plans, and deliver therapy according to standards. We welcome new grads and experienced OTs alike.

Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Keller Oaks Healthcare Center in Keller, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Outpatient Occupational Therapist for our mobile Skilled Nursing rehab program with paid travel time!

Duties
