BJC Medical Group in Chesterfield, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a full-time Triage Nurse for our outpatient OBGYN clinic. The role emphasizes direct patient care, coordination with PCPs and specialists, and adherence to clinic protocols to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.

The position offers a day shift, 40 hours per week, with no call, no weekends, and no holidays. Nursing experience in an outpatient setting with OBGYN exposure is preferred; 2–5 years of experience is commonly

Qualifications

• Provides direct patient care to identified patients in collaboration with providers and care team to assess, develop and implement a plan of care to deliver clinically appropriate, high-quality, cost-effective care.
• Ambulatory RN role with oversight/guidance to clinical staff and support for daily patient management.
• Preferred OBGYN experience in an outpatient setting.
• This is a safety-sensitive position as determined by BJC.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PCPs and Specialists to develop and implement care plans to maximize healthcare outcomes.
• Use nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial and emotional needs of patients.
• Ensure documentation of patient assessment and treatment per compliance standards.
• Provide patient education and written instructions; assess patient/family ability to receive education.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving; support providers in daily patient management.
