Job summary

BJC Medical Group in Chesterfield is seeking a full-time Triage Nurse in the OBGYN clinic to assess patients, coordinate with providers, and support daily patient management.

You will educate patients, document assessments, follow clinical protocols, and assist with care plans in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. This safety-sensitive role requires BLS, RN licensure, and 2–5 years of nursing experience; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate degree in nursing.
• Minimum 2–5 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification and RN license.
• Preferred BSN in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PCPs and specialists to develop and implement care plans.
• Assess patient physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.
• Ensure protocols and guidelines are followed in daily practice.
• Support providers in documenting patient assessments and treatments.
• Provide patient education and written instructions to patients and families.
• This is a safety-sensitive position requiring vigilance and safe conduct.
