Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Cobb County offers a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist position with a day shift (7:30a-4p, Monday–Friday) in Cobb Hospital, Georgia. This role features a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance for eligible candidates, with no on-call or holiday requirements.

The incumbent will perform a range of diagnostic NM procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality imaging, while collaborating with physicians and staff to deliver compassionate

Qualifications

• Accredited Program Radiologic Technology
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or CNMT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year NM experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure and in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patient for nuclear medicine procedures
• Verify orders and patient identity; obtain clinical history
• Maintain image quality and proper labeling; ensure patient safety
• Assist radiologists and other technologists as needed
• Operate NM equipment and perform post-procedure preparation
• Document procedures and ensure timely PACS transmission
• Restock and maintain department supplies and cleanliness
• Takes call when necessary
