Job summary

Hire Consulting Services seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist for outpatient practice in Mattoon, Illinois. The role is full-time and employed, with outpatient duties and optional inpatient exposure.

Compens ation is $475,000 per year, with a supportive clinic team and minimal hospital call burden. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including sign-on and retention bonuses, substantial PTO and CME support, relocation assistance, and robust malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution
• Successful completion of an accredited Neurology Residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Active, unrestricted Illinois state medical license (or immediate eligibility)
• Valid DEA registration
• Strong clinical judgment and a collaborative communication style for a team-based clinic model

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with a clinic team currently comprising two physicians and one APP.
• Manage a predictable outpatient workflow with no mandatory hospital call responsibilities.
• Option to read EEGs or conduct EMG reads if desired.
• Optional inpatient coverage opportunities for acute care exposure.
• Maintain thorough electronic medical records for all encounters and consultations.
