Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide relief outpatient rehabilitation services in the Adult Neuro program. The role supports four shifts over a two-week period, with 8-hour shifts, in Portland’s South Waterfront and occasional Beaverton/Murray Scholls locations.

The ideal candidate has a PT license, eligible for Oregon licensure or temporary permit, and is experienced in outpatient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Oregon or eligible for licensure
• Temporary permit eligibility at time of hire
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or before independent practice

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and manual therapy
• Educate patients and families; develop home exercise programs
• Document evaluations, plans of care, and progress notes per standards
• Schedule patients and manage therapy flow with care coordination
• Supervise therapy interns and contribute to department education and research activities
• Ensure patient safety and maintain infection control and equipment readiness
