The role emphasizes outpatient nephrology with limited hospital consults, opportunities for academic and research involvement, and a physician-led, patient-centered care environment within Cedars-Sinai’s extensive resources.

Qualifikationen

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive outpatient nephrology care with limited hospital consults and rounding. No hospital or dialysis rounds during the week.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and other complex renal conditions.
• Collaborate with specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Weeknight phone calls split evenly (every 8th day).
• Weekend call every 8-12 weeks.
