Job summary
Cedars-Sinai Medical Group in Los Angeles is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible nephrologist to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive outpatient care for a broad range of kidney diseases. You will diagnose and manage CKD, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and related conditions, with limited hospital consults and rounding.
Weeknight calls are shared every 8th day and weekend calls every 8–12 weeks, with opportunities for academic and research
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology.
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient nephrology care with limited hospital consults and rounding.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and other complex renal conditions.
- Collaborate with specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Weeknight phone calls split evenly (every 8th day).
- Weekend call every 8-12 weeks.
