Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Network in California seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Nephrologist to join a collaborative team providing comprehensive outpatient kidney disease care. Weeknight calls and periodic weekend coverage are shared within a multidisciplinary group.

The successful candidate will diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney disease, electrolyte disorders, and hypertension, with opportunities for academic involvement and research in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient nephrology care with limited hospital consults and rounding.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and other complex renal conditions.
• Collaborate with specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Weeknight phone calls split evenly (every 8th day).
• Weekend call every 8-12 weeks.
