Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce high‑resolution diagnostic images with a strong commitment to safety and patient care. You will operate MRI scanners, select imaging techniques based on orders, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining high clinical standards.

The role requires ARRT‑MR/ARMRIT certification, state licensure if required, and 1+ year of high‑volume MRI experience.

Qualifications

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high‑resolution diagnostic images.
• Adhere to MRI safety zones I–IV and screen for contraindications.
• Document patient information accurately in the imaging system.
• Proficient in imaging software and cross‑sectional anatomy understanding.
• Manage workflow and perform routine quality checks on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality MRI images across brain, spine, cardiac, and MSK protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout scanning procedures.
• Assist radiologists with image evaluation and protocol selection.
• Mentor students and junior staff in best MRI practices.
• Maintain equipment and stay updated with protocol changes.
