Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a dedicated imaging coordination specialist to collect clinical data and coordinate scheduling for complex imaging procedures across multiple modalities. You will serve as the primary contact between outpatient providers and exam requests, gathering patient information, clinical indications, and provider requirements.

You will develop a strong working knowledge of all outpatient imaging services and perform essential clinical communications with imaging modalities,

• Collect clinical data to coordinate and schedule complex imaging procedures across modalities.
• Act as a point of contact between outpatient providers and clinical exam requests.
• Collect patient information, clinical indications, and provider requests to determine exam type for the desired procedure.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of all outpatient imaging services provided.
• Perform clinical communication tasks with imaging modalities, radiologists, anesthesia, and provider offices through a call center.

Job description

Responsible for collecting clinical data to coordinate and schedule complex imaging procedures across all

modalities including Interventional Radiology, Neuro Interventional Radiology clinic, Non-Invasive Intervention,

and Molecular Imaging. Act as a point of contact between outpatient providers and clinical exam requests. Collect

patient information, clinical indications, and provider requests, and determine the correct exam type

for the desired procedure. The process of outpatient ordering requests involve collecting, interpreting, and

documenting clinical indications. Develops a comprehensive understanding of all outpatient imaging services

provided. Various clinical communication tasks are performed with imaging modalities, radiologists, specialty

areas (such as anesthesia), and provider offices through a call center. Embodies the Memorial
