Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of medical coding from an approved health information technology program.
• Certification: CCA, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA.
• Minimum one year of experience in outpatient coding.
• Strong analytical and computer skills; detail oriented; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records to assign appropriate diagnosis codes following coding guidelines.
