Job summary

Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL is seeking an Outpatient Coder 2 to analyze medical records and assign diagnosis and procedure codes in accordance with coding guidelines. You will support the revenue cycle and ensure accurate abstraction of information from records, contributing to patient safety and high-quality care.

The role requires completion of an approved medical coding program and current coding certifications (CCA, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA) with at least one year of experience,

Qualifications

• Completion of medical coding from an approved health information technology program.
• Certification: CCA, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA.

Qualifications

Education: Completion of medical coding from an approved health information technology program, currently a Certified Coding Associate (CCA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Registered Health Information Management (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).

Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience.
