Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• CMA certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in outpatient clinic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ambulation and movement to/from exam areas using proper body mechanics.
• Perform initial patient screening including vital signs and history; document data accurately in medical records.
• Assist clinicians with procedures, prepare rooms, and maintain aseptic technique.
• Support clinic operations by handling calls and faxes and ensuring smooth patient flow.
• Recognize emergencies and implement appropriate emergency procedures, including CPR.
