Job summary

StrideCare is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support outpatient clinic operations. The role includes greeting patients, taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and coordinating daily patient flow.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a physician's office or hospital, CMA or RMA preferred, and bilingual Spanish/English. Proficiency with Athena EHR is essential, with a strong emphasis on HIPAA compliance and patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required or equivalent.
• CMA or RMA certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a physician's office or hospital.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
• Proficient use of Athena EHR or similar EHR system.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Obtain and record patient vitals (height, weight, BP, pulse, respirations, temperature).
• Measure and fit patients for compression stockings and assist with putting them on.
• Take before and after pictures of patients.
• Prepare rooms and assist with procedures and tray setup.
• Assist RN and PA with medications and syringes as permitted by state law.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions and coordinate follow-up.
• Coordinate day-to-day clinic traffic to maintain patient flow.
