Job summary

StrideCare in Maryland is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for outpatient care, supporting clinicians with clinical and administrative tasks, greeting patients, and maintaining a patient-centered environment.

You will measure vitals, assist with procedures, manage room readiness, document in Athena EHR, and help coordinate daily clinic flow while upholding HIPAA and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; CMA/RMA preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a physician's office or hospital.
• Certification in CMA or RMA preferred; BLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Obtain vitals and record in EHR.
• Measure and fit patients for compression stockings and assist with putting them on.
• Take before and after pictures of patients.
• Maintain autoclave spore compliance records.
• Assist with medical supply inventory and scanning in/out in the EHR system.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of patient records per HIPAA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues; support clinic operations.
• Coordinate clinic schedule to maintain patient flow and teamwork.
