Job summary

StrideCare, a Texas outpatient clinic, seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinic operations. You will greet patients, record vitals, assist with procedures, manage rooms, and help with administrative tasks while upholding HIPAA and high standards of service.

Ideal candidates have CMA or RMA preferred, 1 year in a physician's office or hospital, bilingual in Spanish/English, and a commitment to teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• CMA or RMA certification preferred; BLS within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a physician's office or hospital.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Record patient vitals: height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature.
• Measure and fit compression stockings; assist with donning.
• Take before and after pictures of patients.
• Prepare rooms and assist RN/PA with medications and syringes.
• Coordinate daily clinic schedule to maintain patient flow.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and confidentiality.
