Job summary

StrideCare in Greenville, SC seeks a Dedicated Medical Assistant for outpatient support. You will greet patients, take vitals, assist with procedures, manage room prep, and support a multi-disciplinary team. Proficiency with Athena EHR and bilingual Spanish/English are valued, with CMA/RMA certifications preferred.

You will ensure HIPAA compliance, help with inventory, and maintain patient flow. A minimum of 1 year in a physician's office or hospital is expected, with BLS certification required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent preferred
• CMA or RMA certification preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a physician's office or hospital

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms
• Record vitals: height, weight, BP, pulse, respirations, temperature
• Measure and help fitting compression stockings
• Take before/after photos
• Prepare rooms and assist with procedures
• Assist RN and PA with medications and syringes as allowed
• Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions
• Coordinate clinic schedule and patient flow
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and confidentiality
• Maintain autoclave compliance records
• Inventory management of medical supplies and scanning into MMC software
• Cross-train across clinic functions and cover other clinics as needed
