Job summary

MedNOW Clinics in Englewood, CO is seeking a dependable Medical Assistant to support safe, efficient, patient-centered care. You will work closely with providers, front desk staff, and clinic leadership to prepare patients, complete clinical tasks, and maintain accurate documentation.

The role offers on-site, outpatient care in a fast-paced environment. You will room patients, collect vital signs, perform selected procedures after training, and help coordinate labs, referrals, and follow-up

Qualifications

• CMA, RMA, CCMA or equivalent credential preferred.
• 1+ year outpatient Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Ability to protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Onsite work in a busy outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and help them feel informed, supported, and safe.
• Record vital signs, chief concerns, meds, allergies, and screens.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during visits.
• Document information in the electronic health record accurately.
• Coordinate lab work, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
• Report concerning vitals to licensed clinicians.
• Maintain room cleanliness and stocked supplies.
• Adhere to hand hygiene, PPE, and infection-prevention guidelines.
• Seek guidance when tasks are unfamiliar or unapproved.
• Participate in training, competency validation, and performance reviews.
