Formación

• Must be a graduate from a medical assistant program.
• Hold a valid diploma or current certification to practice as a medical assistant, certification preferred.
• Previous work experience is desired, but training will be provided for a qualified candidate.

Responsabilidades

• Medical Assistants work under the direct authority of a physician in a high-volume outpatient setting and communicate patient needs to the care team.
• Work with RN to develop and implement tasks needed for patient care, including sending and tracking imaging orders and contacting patients for dates of service.
• Maintain adequate documentation within Meditech and stay task-oriented on lower-volume days while multi-tasking on higher-volume clinic days.

Educación

Medical Assistant diploma

MA certification (certification preferred)
