Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for the Missouri Baptist Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Clinic in Creve Coeur. The MA will support clinicians with exam room prep, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections and point-of-care testing.

There is a $2,500 sign-on bonus, 40-hour workweek, day shift, and benefit eligibility. The role emphasizes no call, no weekends, and no holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• No Experience required.
• CPR certification is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies in exam rooms.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains accurate charting.
• Performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing and injections.
• Triage calls and shares test results with providers using proper terminology.
